Prior to joining NEOS in January 2010, Jim was President and Chief Operating Officer of ION Geophysical Corporation where he was accountable for setting growth strategies and overseeing the financial execution of all ION business units. Previously, Jim worked in management and technology roles for Landmark Graphics, a Halliburton subsidiary, where he focused on providing geoscience software solutions to oil & gas companies. Jim holds a BS in Geophysics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MS in Geophysics from the University of Utah.
Before joining NEOS, Chris held positions within the legal department of several public technology companies. Chris has worked for private law firms, the ICC International Court of Arbitration, and the World Economic Forum. Chris holds a BA in Economics from Haverford College, a master's degree in Public Policy from the Eagleton Institute of Politics, and a JD and Certificate of International Law with distinction from Rutgers School of Law.
Chris is also Director of HSE for NEOS.
Prior to joining NEOS, Dr. Beasley was founder and proprietor of Wave Geophysics, a consulting business that provided geophysical, geological, and geochemical advisory services to mining, petroleum, and geothermal companies. Previously, Craig managed geophysical exploration activities in a significant portion of the Americas for BHP Minerals. Dr. Beasley holds a BS in Geophysics from the University of California, Riverside and both MS and PhD degrees in geophysics from the University of Utah.
Before joining NEOS, Chris was Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing for ION Geophysical Corporation where he was responsible for strategic planning, marketing communications, and corporate development. Prior to ION, Chris was a founder and Managing Director with RiverBend Associates, a management consulting firm based in Houston. Previously, Chris worked as a Managing Director with VerticalNet, and as a Principal and partner at McKinsey & Company. Chris has also held positions as a senior reservoir engineer with Exxon, in merchant banking with Bankers Trust, and in field operations with Unocal. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford's Graduate School of Business. He is also on the advisory board of Stanford's Petroleum Investment Committee.
Prior to joining NEOS, Carlos was Senior Vice President of Business Development at 3D-Geo, a provider of seismic and structural interpretation consulting services to the oil & gas industry. While at 3D-Geo, Carlos led the formation of the Kaleidoscope seismic imaging project, a partnership among Repsol, 3D-Geo, Stanford University, IBM, and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. Before joining 3D-Geo in 2006, Carlos served as the General Manager – Latin America for Paradigm Geophysical and as President and General Manager for both Petroleum Information Argentina and Hycal Sismos Technologies. Carlos holds degrees with honors in Geophysics and Business Administration from La Plata University in Argentina.
Prior to joining NEOS, Don was the Director of Land Operations, Western Hemisphere at ION Geophysical where he was accountable for operations of land seismic DP and reservoir services with focus on fracture detection. Before ION, he held management positions as VP of U.S. Land for Kelman Technologies, VP of Seismic Technologies for Core Laboratories, VP of U.S. Land DP at Veritas GeoServices as well as management positions with Western Geophysical and CGG. While at CGG, Don was the seismic team lead for the Colorado School of Mines Silo Field Phase II Reservoir Characterization project. Don began his 35+ year career as a Wellsite Geologist/Wireline Analyst at Century Geophysical before moving to seismic DP with Chevron. Don holds a BS in Geology from Missouri State University and completed the Executive Management Program at Rice University.
